Each year, ILAM presented the outstanding Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards to Malaysian landscape architecture practices and related fields. The awards are open to all project submissions, which have not won any previous ILAM MLAA Awards. The official entrant must be submitted by the member of ILAM (Except Student Member) from the consultancy firm which was involved in the submitted project.

HAO / Holm Architecture Office and AI have been chosen as a shared winner of the Eco City Binhai Master Plan, situated outside Tianjin in Northern China and covering an area of 49,2 acres / 200,000 M2. The plan includes a new Central Business District (CBD) and five new cultural buildings. The project has been chosen as a finalist for this years WAF in Singapore.

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) recently unveiled a concept plan for the future park in the West Kowloon Cultural District, conceived by a global team led by Dennis Lau & Ng Chun Man Architects & Engineers (Hong Kong) Ltd, with West 8 (Netherlands) and ACLA (Hong Kong). The design team has been working closely with WKCDA since their appointment in February 2014.

All the three landscape installations: “Pipe me not”, “Six Degrees” and “Raise” have illustrated a series of dynamics and playful adventures with visitor’s interaction and with ironic meaning of the weight of balloon and soil; to remind and to encourage people to “Communicate” outside their circles and to give a chance for people to “Speak Up”. These landscape installations exemplify how direct observations of landscape, art and urban phenomena can blossom into artistic endeavors, human interaction investigations, and open-ended inquiries; offering a refreshing dimensions of experience to the perceivers. “me.you.we”
