WxLA announces Scholars for 2021

WxLA – an advocacy initiative focused on gender justice in landscape architecture recently announced the 2021 WxLA Scholars. The purpose of this award is to aid in the professional development and success of emerging and mid-career leaders in our profession by covering the costs associated with attendance at the 2021 Conference on Landscape Architecture in Nashville (Nov. 19-22). The award will cover the cost of full registration for the conference and provide a housing and airfare stipend.

An incredible jury (Mia Lehrer, Jennifer Birkeland, Danielle Pieranunzi, Kona Gray, Marjanne Pearson, and Elizabeth Kennedy) selected nine deserving scholars out of a pool of talented nominees. Over the week of September 21, WxLA is sharing the scholars’ profiles, stories, and highlights of their nominations on Instagram (@w_x_la).
