Uncommon Land to become Benoy Landscape Architecture

Uncommon Land has begun a new chapter, joining their sister company Benoy to form Benoy Landscape Architecture.

Since 2018, Uncommon Land has been part of the Handley House group, which owns Benoy and Pragma. Six years on, the team believes a combined offering will make them the design studio of choice for the built environment. In this new configuration, they will draw on Benoy’s global network of designers and thought leaders, whilst continuing to offer their specialist skills in landscape architecture and urban design.

The move comes following an exceptional period of growth for Uncommon Land. Now Benoy Landscape Architecture; their primary studio in London, headed up by Angus Palmer, has grown to 25+ staff, while the Singapore and Hong Kong teams, headed by Rayvees Goh since 2022, are looking to expand to 20+ people this year.

Collectively both studios are working across four different continents on varying scales of work, providing collaborative services for Benoy’s Architecture and Masterplanning teams, while also working with other built environment firms to deliver landscape architecture and urban design projects.
