World Landscape Architecture (WLA) is a global platform that connects tens of thousands of landscape architects, urban designers, specifiers, and studio leaders each month. We cover industry news and bring deep industry expertise.

We offer marketing and PR services on a per-project or quarterly retainer basis. We also provide design competition management services, drawing on our experience managing competitions, awards, and juries.

Marketing Strategy, Content & PR Services

General marketing agencies often struggle with design jargon and technical terminology. At WLA, we understand design narratives, sustainable water design, hardscape specifications, nature-based solutions, and biodiversity. We turn complex design concepts and technical material specs into compelling, publication-ready stories.

  • Marketing Strategy
    • What it is: We undertake a review of your current materials (projects, images, website, etc) and determine a strategy to improve or rework your materials.
    • Best for: From sole practitioners to medium-sized firms who need help with their strategy and how to produce materials.
  • Content Strategy
    • What is it: We develop a content calendar based on your marketing strategy and assist you in producing the materials within your company or provide full assistance in producing, managing and publishing/posting the materials.
  • Practice & People Spotlights
    • What it is: Narrative interview pieces profiling firm principals, emerging leaders, or studio culture.
    • Best for: Growing practices looking to establish thought leadership and attract top design talent.
  • Project Profile Narratives
    • What it is: Full drafting of project descriptions from raw CAD notes, site plans, and team interviews.
    • Best for: Design firms submitting work to international awards, updating portfolio sites, or publishing on WLA. (Excluding WLA Awards)
  • Manufacturer Case Studies & Technical Deep-Dives
    • What it is: Detailed 800–1,200 word feature articles demonstrating how your product solved real-world design, structural, or sustainability challenges on specific sites.
    • Best for: Material manufacturers, lighting suppliers, software providers, and site amenity vendors.

All services exclude the WLA Awards. Consequently, due to a conflict of interest, we are unable to prepare or provide guidance on your submissions to the WLA Awards.
