THE QUARTIER DES SPECTACLES PARTNERSHIP INVITES ARTISTS, CREATORS AND DESIGNERS TO SUBMIT THEIR PROPOSALS TO THE LUMINOTHÉRAPIE 2018-2019 COMPETITION.
The aim of this multidisciplinary competition is to enhance the public space and bring it to life with a participatory work and architectural video projections.
Drawing inspiration from the theme of “encounters”, multidisciplinary teams of up-and-coming or experienced designers should design an auditory, luminous and participatory work for the Place des Festivals that creates a sense of wonder as well as video projections for the two adjacent building façades.
For this ninth edition, the work must encourage the public’s active endorsement, inviting people to move, meet, talk and have a shared experience.
From November 29, 2018 to January 27, 2019, Montrealers and visitors will be invited to enjoy Montreal’s winter in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles with Luminothérapie.
The deadline to register is August 21, 2017 at noon. Proposals must be submitted no later than noon, Montreal time, on August 30, 2017. There is no registration fee.
