Huafa CIFI · Platinum Diamond Four Seasons is located in Ma’an, Huizhou, consisting of four parts. The landscape design connects them as a whole with a storyline.
Love is the context in this project, connecting four parts with a storyline. It offers the site a unique temperament through the interpretation of love at different stages. The circular building in the center of the site plays a leading role in the space, so the landscape must be perfectly linked to it. In the initial phase of the design, the landscape and the building underwent multiple interactions, and in the end, they decided to connect different spatial levels with a penetrating artistic line to increase the multidimensionality and richness of the site. The diamond ring symbolizes the steadfastness and eternity of love and it is the spiritual support of loyalty. The shape of the building is derived from this image. The designers did not blindly emphasize the language of the ring, trying instead to extend the ideological connotation and make room for more spiritual narratives.
Six highlighted areas (the romantic art theater, holiday leisure pool, childhood forest, healthy and vigorous community, humanistic care community) interpret the concept to build all-age ecological leisure quality community.
The healthy and vigorous community makes full use of the community’s elevated surface to set up functional nodes. Leisure is the main function, forming a multiple functions space to provide the neighborhood with a place for communication.
To create a humanistic community, the detailed optimization design of the facilities for different ages and different use in the community was adapted. The intimate design reflects the humanistic care and inclusiveness of the community, it allows residents to have a warm and convenient user experience. Integrate the concept of caring for the all-age community to create a public composite functional experience.
