The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA | AAPC) recently announced the recipients of the 2026 Awards of Excellence. This year, 12 projects received a national award. Landscape Carbon Benchmarking Study (City of Toronto) by DTAH is Awarded the Jury’s Award of Excellence.
These award-winning projects are preeminent examples of Canadian landscape architecture. They illustrate the range of what landscape architects do and how they help reshape our communities by defining the places where we live, work, and play.
Winners were selected by a national jury of landscape architects. They were Carol Craig (Chair), Marie-Claude Quessy, Travis Martin, Doug Fountain, Wanda Dalla Costa (external juror), and Lea Papillon, recipient of the 2025 Frederick Gage Todd National Scholarship. A total of 54 submissions were received.
