Connect Kendall Square Competition Finalists announced

 

The City of Cambridge received the eight Stage II Submittals in early October and has announced that four teams have been shortlisted to enter Stage III

These Teams demonstrated professional qualifications and capacity necessary for superb performance of the required services. They presented experience and organization that was directly related to and in support of their clear and distinct approaches to the development of the Framework.

The four teams include:
– Framework Cultural Placemaking
– Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc. Landscape Architects
– Richard Burck Associates, Inc.
– SITELAB urban studio

Stage III of the Connect Kendall Square Open Space Competition represents the beginning of the creation of the four Framework Plans, one plan created by each Team.

o celebrate this critical stage in the competition, the City of Cambridge with the Eastern Cambridge / Kendall Square Open Space (ECKOS) Study Committee is hosting a Meet Your Teams Night. Learn more about the competition process and hear from each of the finalists about their experience and inspiration to approaching the framework plan to Connect Kendall Square.
