About the role
An exciting opportunity exists at Hassell for a talented and experienced landscape architect to join our Sydney studio where you will have the ability to demonstrate initiative and actively contribute to the design process.
In this role you will play a pivotal role in our projects, contributing your extensive experience and expertise to elevate the quality of our designs,
About you
Several years’ experience in landscape architecture in commercial, public realm, and/or urban transportation, you bring expertise in design quality, demonstrating strengths in a specialised design area and incorporating new concepts such as sustainability and regenerative design.
Your skills in concept development and communication and as is the ability to be a team player within highly motivated design and documentation teams are important.
You have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to oversee the entire process from concept to completion.
You are proficient in project delivery design technology, bid writing, safety, sustainability in design, and various design tools (Revit is preferred, Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, BIM, 3D, MS Office).
You bring a record of collaborating seamlessly with team members to meet financial and design requirements, ensuring the success and profitability of projects.
You have an understanding of the specific components of projects from procurement through to implementation and skills in concept development and communication are important, as is the ability to be a team player within highly motivated design and documentation teams.
You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Architecture/Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
Registration with the Australia Institute of Landscape Architects is desirable.
