Croke Park architects win award – The Irish Times

The Irish Times reports

“The architectural practice of Gilroy McMahon was today awarded the highest honour in Irish architecture for its work on Croke Park Stadium.

President Mary McAleese today presented the firm with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Gold Medal, which has been awarded since 1934 to a building of exceptional merit.”

Rankinfraser shortlisted for Antwerp competition – Scottish Architecture

“Rankinfraser landscape architecture have been shortlisted to design a new public square in the centre of Edegem, a borough of Antwerp.

The Edinburgh based company will be working with Verne Architecten of Gent and competing with 4 other design teams from Belgium and The Netherlands.”
