SouthCoastToday.com reports “From more than a dozen designs submitted for the proposed fishermen’s memorial at Fort Taber, the Fishermen’s Tribute Fund committee has narrowed the list to five finalists.

The remaining artists have a deadline of Feb. 17 to complete a maquette, or miniature, from which the winner will be selected.”
