Vestre will debut JUNE, a modern classic bench design, at the ASLA 2025 Conference for Landscape Architects (Booth #1349). Alongside this launch, Vestre will also highlight the recently launched UNITY collection, reinforcing the company’s mission to create inclusive, sustainable, and vibrant public spaces.
With its soft oval shapes, round legs, and subtle Scandinavian expression, JUNE balances softness and structure in a way that feels both familiar and refreshingly modern. Design trio Espen Voll, Tore Borgersen, and Michael Olofsson reimagined the classic bench not by reinventing it, but by refining it.

Vestre’s JUNE was designed to adapt with ease while respecting the role benches have always played in public life — a space to relax and interact.
Crafted from slow-grown Scandinavian pine and Nordic steel, which has 20% lower emissions than the global average, JUNE is a testament to Vestre’s sustainable manufacturing ethos. Its modular system allows the bench to stand alone or extend to any length, with options for high- or low-back configurations, armrests, and custom finishes. Available in nearly 200 colors with no minimum order, JUNE is as versatile in form as it is in function, designed for settings ranging from town centers and campuses to healthcare environments and scenic viewpoints. Thoughtful details, such as recessed screws and milled wood to conceal the frame, ensure a refined look, while smart construction makes transport and assembly straightforward.
“We wanted to create a bench in a more transitional, classic style while staying true to Vestre’s signature Scandinavian design identity,” said Kristoffer Vestre, Commercial Director for Vestre
