Quartier des Spectacles Partnership invites proposals for Luminothérapie 2019-20

Loop – Luminothérapie 2016

To mark the 10th anniversary of this annual multidisciplinary competition for participatory works and architectural projections designed to animate and showcase public space, the theme for Luminothérapie 2019-20 will be CELEBRATION!

Using the theme as inspiration, multidisciplinary teams of up-and-coming or experienced creative talents will use the Place des Festivals as the setting for an auditory, luminous and participatory work that inspires a sense of wonder, day and night. Teams will also propose architectural projections for two building façades overlooking the Place des Festivals. The work must encourage members of the public to participate actively and move, meet and talk – a true community experience.

From November 28, 2019 to January 26, 2020, Montrealers and visitors will be invited to enjoy an outdoor winter event in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles, where they will participate in the experience commissioned for Luminothérapie.

Registration deadline: Wednesday, April 18, 2018, noon Montreal time.
Submission deadline: April 25, 2018, noon Montreal time.

There is no registration fee
