We’re looking for a Landscape Architect, Urban Designer (or architect with an interest in contributing to landscape projects) for our Adelaide, Perth and Sydney studios. You will have a passion for shaping places that respond to people, place, and environment. If you bring strong design thinking, clear communication, and fresh ideas, we want you to help drive innovative concepts and push design excellence with us!
The Role
We’re looking for a passionate, high performing team member in a permanent full-time capacity. We are seeking early career graduates, or someone who has had exposure to all project stages, with a focus on documentation and contract administration phases. For this reason, we welcome candidates from other design disciplines who can demonstrate some aligned experience or collaboration with landscape teams.
In this role, you’ll contribute to a diverse range of exciting projects – local civic, university, hospital, and destination play spaces, as well as international competitions, master planning and public realm projects – all with a targeted focus on delivering ASPECT’s regenerative design principles
We’re looking for someone who loves what they do, both in their design work and in their contributions to team and studio culture. You’ll be working on a variety of projects at different stages, interacting with diverse project collaborators – strong project management, design thinking, technical expertise, and communication will be key.
The successful person will have:
- Degree qualification(s) in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or Architecture,
- Early career Graduate, or more experienced LA/Architect with 2-4 years of experience in professional design practice,
- A high level of production capability, with proficiency in REVIT (essential), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign / Photoshop), Rhino, Lumion, Enscape and more,
- Exceptional visual communication and problem-solving skills,
- Knowledge of sustainability, regenerative design and construction, and
- A passion for designing inclusive, sustainable places.
