Join The Cultural Landscape Foundation’s (TCLF) Board of Directors for a Reception at Octavia Art Gallery on Friday, October 10, 5-7pm (the capstone event following TCLF’s Annual Excursion – a separately ticketed event). The catered reception will also include a presentation of the TCLF’s Stewardship Excellence Award. This year’s honorees are Shaun Duncan, Hon. ASLA, and Lake Douglas, FASLA, both of New Orleans. Also in attendance will be Oberlander Prize Curator, Elizabeth Mossop, and Oberlander Prize Jury Chair, Claire Agre.
Octavia Gallery was founded in 2008 with a curatorial dedication to “the works of emerging, mid-career and established artists with diverse cultural backgrounds and a strong focus on abstraction”; the women-owned and operated gallery is located on Magazine Street. Attendees will be able to explore the current exhibition featuring artists Carmen Almon and Emily Farish, while also spotlighting the education and advocacy efforts of the TCLF this past year.
