Cracknell is very pleased to welcome Phil Black to the company, where he will lead the Abu Dhabi studio as Resident Director. Meeting global demand for Cracknell’s signature landscape design quality, Phil’s arrival is a key part of strengthening Cracknell’s core leadership team as the firm continues to expand.
Phil is a highly regarded team leader with 20+ years’ international experience in the design and execution of constructed landscapes across Australia, Asia and the Middle East. His experience comes from working at several high-profile practices, firstly in Australia where he contributed to many award-winning urban design, public domain and infrastructure projects and more recently in the Middle East. He brings to Cracknell highly developed project management and project team coordination skills necessary for complex multi-disciplinary projects and will work collaboratively across our design teams to ensure integrated outcomes within the urban landscape.
Phil’s expertise lies in the design and project management of large scale urban and public realm environments where his design skills are expressed both in functional planning and detailed design. He has a particular interest in architectural interfaces, cultural landscapes and environmental sustainability.
