CyPARK is a newly built bicycle-friendly retail center that was transformed from an abandoned community complex in Chengdu, one of the largest modern cities in Southeast China.

Beyond its new appearance as a serene valley park for local fashion enthusiasts and outdoor shoppers, CyPARK incorporates low-carbon practices, native plantings, and on-site materials under limited budget, for a sustainable implementation process.

Since opening last June, CyPARK has become a trending destination, hosting 107 events and attracting over 5,000 visitors daily. The project’s success is in revitalizing an ailing community asset with new jobs and revenue generation while reducing water and energy consumption.
