Book Review | SH*T Gardens

The Sh*t Gardens book is the creation of  James Hull (teacher) and Bede Brennan (landscape architect), which is a celebration of residential yards and gardens. As you can tell from the title this is not your normal coffee table garden book, no it showcases the weird and wonderful landscapes created by their residents(current or past). The book breaks down the gardens into categories including Topiaries, Antiquity, Hard Surfaces, Zen Gardens and WTF.

This book that has come from their growingly popular @shitgardens Instagram account is full of gardens that will either make you laugh or cry and is best read with a few friends allowing everyone to recall sh*t gardens they have seen in their travels through cities. A fun book that can be light relief at times and a reminder us not to take it all too seriously.

The book is available for purchase on Amazon for $USD16.99 (+P&H)
