Shortlist announced for Arboretum San Antonio Master Plan

The Arboretum San Antonio Board of Directors and Planning Committee has announced the shortlist for the Arboretum San Antonio Master Plan. 18 submissions from various firms showcased a high level of expertise. The Board stated they appreciated the time and effort teams put into preparing their submissions.

After considerable review and deliberation, the planning committee reached the decision of the three firms shortlisted invited to participate in the next phase of the master planning efforts:

  • Sasaki
  • Reed Hilderbrand
  • MVVA (Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates)

The firms are currently preparing their submissions for the Master Plan RFP for submission in mid-December, with the winner to be awarded in February. Once awarded, the winning firm will be engaged in a six to nine-month engagement program.
