Face to Face/ Tête à Tête King Street Parklet – Toronto, Canada – PLANT Architect Inc.
The City staged its concurrent ‘Everyone is King’ Design Build Competition to create streetscape-animating curb-lane parklets along the 2.5-mile Transit Pilot stretch of King. Face to Face / Tête à Tête, one of the winning parklet designs, transforms a couple of curb-lane parking spots into a concentrated conversation zone.
Into the Forest – Mantova, Italy – Openfabric
“Fallen Forest” is a memorial for the millions of trees victims of the cyclone that hit the North-Eastern regions of Italy on November 2nd, 2018. The installation confronts the phenomena of climate tropicalisation and its catastrophic effects on the environment, by recreating a portion of post-apocalyptic landscape (using leftovers trunks of paper production-chain). Climate change is real, action is urgent.
Light Sculpture Plaza – Modi’in, Israel – Shlomo Aronson Architects
The sculpture serves to anchor the southern end of the new city center and pedestrian promenade in Modi’in, Israel, an ongoing project currently under construction.

The hall and landscape welcome the public, providing an accessible external public realm including an amphitheatre and green terraced areas for students, visitors and community alike. The inclusive nature of the public interface invites participation and engenders a genuine sense of community ownership and engagement, making visible the vibrant cultural life of the University.
