LBA Landscape Architecture engages in purposeful and collaborative design which can transform our world. It can unite, enrich, and strengthen communities. It can foster a drive to protect and restore ecology, create a space of calm, vibrance, or even whimsy, and promote economic vitality. The promise of what could be informs every project we touch. From landscape architecture to urban design to land planning, our commitment to vision, understanding, and artistry achieves the extraordinary.

LBA was founded 40 years ago by Jack LaQuatra and Frederick R. Bonci to advance the profession of landscape architecture and provide quality design services for clients who share a desire to develop significant, engaging, and memorable landscapes. Drawing on the rich legacy of our profession, we are committed to understanding the historical precedents of each locale while working diligently to express the intricacies of the site, thereby arriving at unique and contextual design solutions. We aim to seamlessly integrate natural systems, habitats, and ecologically sound principles that result in innovative, elegant, meaningful, and timeless landscapes. We create places for people, places that are sustainable both ecologically and economically, that elevate one’s sense of place, celebrating their unique history and culture, engaging them in a rich social, civic, and equitable environment.
