Winners announced for Tempelhofer Feld Ideas Competition

Recently, the jurors met to debate the 20 designs from the second and final phase of the open international ideas competition for Tempelhofer Feld. The jury evaluated the submitted works and selected six outstanding design ideas, which represent the diversity of Tempelhofer Feld’s future development.

The aim of the selection was to award prizes to designs that not only offer exceptional conceptual ideas and design solutions but also demonstrate a broad range of potential developments for Tempelhofer Feld. The works recognised by the jury based on the competition form the foundation for the third workshop, which will be held in mid-July 2025.

As provided for in the announcement of the competition, no ranking was established within the prize group. At its meeting, the jury unanimously voted to award six winners. This is intended to acknowledge the different development perspectives accordingly.

“It was important to us to launch an ideas competition for this special place that makes the whole range of diversity and ideas for the future development of Tempelhofer Feld visible…..From 20 very creative, imaginative and partly critical designs from the second phase, we were able to select the works that reflect a wide variety of development possibilities for Tempelhofer Feld that we wanted for the city-wide debate. I would like to thank all those involved for the successful process.”
