The Pulse of Amsterdam is completed

The unique project The Pulse of Amsterdam, developed by EDGE & VORM and designed by MVSA Architects, VMX Architects and DELVA Landscape Architecture Urbanism, recently reached completion. The Pulse of Amsterdam is a high-quality, circular building where modern architecture and nature go hand in hand; a place where people can live, work and relax in a pleasant and comfortable way. The architectural design is integrally linked to an innovative landscape design that covers an impressive 40% of the plot.

With a spectacular urban forest at height, a public park, purifying water zones, green roof terraces and biosolar roofs, The Pulse of Amsterdam makes a lasting contribution to the green structure of Amsterdam and meets the highest standards in the field of housing, sustainability, mobility and nature.

The first urban forest at height in Amsterdam

A unique, native urban forest nestles between the high towers at a height of 35 metres. A place where people can immerse themselves in nature. A floating path between the trees offers a breathtaking view of the city center of Amsterdam. The forest reduces heat, is water adaptive and contributes to biodiversity in the highly urbanized area.

Permanent contribution to green structure

The ecological value that has been added to the area with The Pulse of Amsterdam forms a permanent ecological stepping stone between the two largest green poles of Amsterdam: the Amstelscheg and the Amsterdamse Bos.
