The Role
The Senior BIM Coordinator will work closely with project teams and the Regional BIM Manager to oversee the implementation of BIM methodologies that improve project efficiency within the Sydney studio. Supporting and improving project workflows, deliverables, and project management, whilst facilitating inter-studio collaboration will be key in contributing to the elevation of ASPECT’s BIM capability at both local and global levels.
This role will suit someone passionate about maintaining currency of knowledge in BIM systems, software, and process to promote continuous improvement. Sharing knowledge across the local studio and broader global practice, an appetite for advancing the knowledge of others through education and training is critical to the success of this position.
Other areas of focus will relate to responsibility for key BIM project initiatives, compliance, and general studio BIM Management.
About You
If you’re a Landscape Architect, Architect, Engineer, or Building Designer with at least 5 years of local experience managing complex REVIT models, we want to speak to you.
You are a highly collaborative person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A subject matter expert in the application of BIM and other design technologies, you are keen to transfer your knowledge to others through teaching and coaching.
Ideally, you will be well-versed in:
- Revit, BIM 360 and Navisworks,
- Escape and Twinmotion,
- Revizto, Aconex, and Projectwise.
- Bonus points for good knowledge of Vectorworks!
