Student – Analysis & Planning

Unbuilt (or not implemented) Analysis and Planning projects that were developed for coursework or competitions and may include masterplans, frameworks, urban design plans, conservation plans, research analysis, town planning, transport planning, development guidelines, etc.

Judging Criteria:

• Analysis and Contribution (analysis, value to community, context, possible implementation)
• Innovation (The level of innovation)
• Presentation & Supporting Information (how the design was presented and explained)

Submission
A maximum five (5) pages (A3 / 11×17 format – landscape orientation) using the WLA Award template will only be accepted.
Submission is a single PDF file via email. Refer to the 2021 WLA Awards Entry Guide for more information and requirements.

2021 WLA Awards

Awards
 Award of Excellence (1 per category) – WLA Award Trophy, WLA Award Certificate, Featured on WLA in 2021. $250AUD Reward (paid by Paypal)
Merit Award (2 per category) – WLA Award Certificate, Featured on WLA in 2021.
Honourable Mention (up to 2 per category) – WLA Award Certificate, Featured on WLA in 2021.

The selection of the Awards is up to the jury’s discretion. They may decide not to award all awards. (e.g. Award of Excellence, Merit Award, Honorable Mentions).

Upon purchasing an award registration fee you will receive an email with your order number (which is your entry number) and download links for the 2021 WLA Awards Template.
A purchase(order) with multiple entries will receive separate emails with additional order/entry numbers within 24-48 hours. If you don’t receive an order email with that time please contact [email protected]

DISCOUNT
WLA Student Members get to receive one free WLA Student Awards Registration for only one category either Student – Design or Student – Analysis & Planning or Student Research or Student – Graduate Award.  The Student Membership must be purchased before purchasing this Award to receive the discount.
