From the artist: “I borrow the view of the traditional landscape and change it with the use of photography. The skies and landscapes in the series “Pop!” are painted with clouds of colored smoke, which are released from canisters, levitated into the physical space from which they are photographed. It is through this process that I am making something that I find simply beautiful.”
