The head of Japan’s leading garden research and landscape consulting firm, Nakane & Associates, will give a lecture tonight at the Pacific Northwest College of Art.
Shiro Nakane’s presentation, Honoring the Past and Envisioning the Future of Landscape Architecture, will look at how landscape architects can design something new while incorporating the past.
The event is being sponsored by PNCA and the Portland Japanese Garden. It will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the PNCA Swigert Commons, 1241 N.W. Johnson St., in Portland. It is free and open to the public.
