LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT/LANDSCAPE DESIGNER/ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER (3-5 years experience)

Bluegreen // Aspen, Colorado, USA

“You may not know it, but you have it in you to do impossible things.  You can take your designer’s brew of creativity, curiosity, and an incurable itch to improve things—and use it to elevate the way people live.” Steve Vassallo, The Way to Design

We were floored when we read this quote in one of our fav design reads from the past year.  This is what we do at Bluegreen exactly, and it spoke to our collective soul.  If you are similarly called, we are looking to add you to our studio!

Our ideal Landscape Architect/Landscape Designer/Architectural Designer has 3-5 years of experience and possesses the desire to create extraordinary work.  We envision that this team member will seek to grow with Bluegreen, and their talent and propensity for going beyond what they are initially hired to do will allow them to do impossible things.  Mad technical skills in AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and preparing detailed design sets are essential.  Inspired concept development and communication skills are great, including Photoshop, Illustrator, sketching, and physical modeling.

No pressure, but extraordinary designers are compelling communicators, and we want to hear from you in your voice.  To that end, we ask that you also respond to our Culture Q+A questions:

  • What makes you most passionate about designing spaces outside of architecture?
  • What motivates you to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative design studio?
  • Provide an example or two of what collaborators have learned from you?

Please upload your detailed resume (2MB limit), portfolio (8MB limit in pdf format only) and culture Q+A to [email protected].  While our advertisement is open for 28 days, we are looking to fill this position quickly.  In addition to extraordinary growth potential and opportunity for contribution, studio members enjoy excellent benefits including competitive salary, health benefits (including a ski pass!), paid holidays, flex time, vacation, personal time off, professional memberships and educational benefits including professional licensure support.  Visit bluegreenaspen.com to learn more about our studio and what we do.
