Have you Seen Trio?

Forms+Surfaces’ Trio furniture is one of the most enduring product families designed for life outdoors. Offering a coordinated mix of lighting, seating and bike racks, now’s a great time to (re)discover the line.

Trio blends evocative sculptural forms with materials and construction durable enough for the most challenging outdoor environments. Trio’s elegant design carries open-angled shapes, swept details, and exaggerated triangular profiles across a family that includes bollards and pedestrian lighting, benches, table ensembles and bike racks.

The beauty of the Trio line lies in its ability to tell a cohesive visual story across a property. The family’s configurable products and versatile material and finish options give you plenty of ways to meet project-specific design and color themes.

Trio Bollards and Pedestrian Lighting bring the family’s sleek detailing into minimalist linear forms that integrate into a wide range of settings and have a beautiful presence, day or night.

Both Trio lighting designs feature performance Cree® LEDs in 3000K warm white or 4000K neutral white color temperatures. Fixtures have forward phase, reverse phase, and 0-10V dimming capabilities and are ETL and C-ETL listed for wet locations.

The Trio Bench is a durable, time-tested design with versatile material options. Available backed or backless, bench frames of powdercoated cast aluminum can be paired with slats of powdercoated or anodized aluminum or FSC® 100% Cumaru hardwood.

Benches with wood slats are six feet long; benches with aluminum slats can be six or eight feet long. Intermediate armrests are also an option.

Trio Table Ensembles bring a social element to the family. The table and two matching benches stay true to the Trio aesthetic and together form a unified design element. As with Trio Benches, cast aluminum frames can be paired with FSC® 100% Cumaru hardwood or powdercoated or anodized aluminum slats.

Trio Ensemble variations that comply with ADA standards and/or incorporate our Soleris Sunshade are also an option.

Beyond seating, Trio Bike Racks are a proven choice when secure bike parking is the goal. The design works with standard U-locks, allows for multiple locking points and layouts, and meets Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) guidelines. Trio Bike racks feature cast aluminum construction and the same powdercoat options as the rest of the Trio line.

Together or on their own, Trio products match public settings of all kinds—think mixed-use spaces, streetscapes and parks, universities, corporate campuses, airports, and anywhere that places a premium on beautiful, high-performance designs.
