Ganlushan Cultural and Creative City is located in Huangpi District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, covering an area of about 130,000 square meters. As a part of the first opening area of the Yangtze River Literature and Tourism City, it is one of the detonation projects of the city and one of the important leaders in the upgrading of the urban life of the Literature and Tourism City area.

Design Thinking
Ganlushan Cultural and Creative City consists of “commercial street + snow world complex” and “cultural tourism town with various trendy play space”. The design makes full use of the geographical conditions of the waterfront height difference and the Lego-like interesting shape of the building to create two main landscape tourism lines, “Xixili Commercial Street” and “Trendy waterfront district”, presenting a new experience of life in the ice and snow IP culture and tourism town that belongs exclusively to Wuhan.

Commercial Street
Entrance plaza on the south side of the commercial block
The dynamic dry spray at the entrance plaza and the throbbing lights of the Ferris wheel in the distance build up the energetic tone of Ganlushan Cultural and Creative City.

Intra-Commercial Street
Crossing the entrance plaza to the inner street of Xixili commercial center, there are two rich play lines to choose from, on one side is the hip play and passion of the Snow World complex, and on the other side is right next to the scattered LEGO modeling stores, which brings us a great spatial experience.

Trendy waterfront district
Observation Ferris wheel and relaxing waterfront beach
Located at the southernmost end of the waterfront, the landscape Ferris Wheel is adjacent to the Xixili Commercial Street and Snow World Lobby, and is an important highlight of the Trendy waterfront district. The Ferris Wheel not only creates a dreamy lakeside skyline for Ganlu Lake, but also expands the panoramic view of the Cultural and Tourism City.

Passing through the Art Steps and Lakeside Activity Plaza to reach the central lakeside beach, a cascading waterfront activity space is formed, which is a relaxing waterfront for weekend family fun and a place where art celebrations take place.

Extreme Skating
Along the lakeshore to the north, enter the multi-sports theme area. The paved plaza here combined with the concave and convex boundary design creates an extreme sports field for the youth, so that the youth groups can enjoy the passion and challenge of skating, sweat to their heart’s content, release unlimited vitality, and let happiness and sweat go hand in hand.

Lakeside Campground
On the northernmost side of the lakeshore, we have preserved an ecological barge with grass slopes into the water and a relaxing outdoor campsite for the lakeshore, which provides a leisure place for tourists to get close to the nature, and at the same time, adds a soothing natural atmosphere to the whole cultural and tourism neighborhood.
