The I-Park Foundation (www.i-park.org), a not-for-profit international arts community in E. Haddam, CT (USA), is seeking proposals from the following disciplines that re-imagine our cultural and personal relationship to death, memory and memorialization:
Music/Sound Sculpture
Visual Arts/Environmental Sculpture
Theater/Choreography/Performance Art
Landscape/Garden Design
Architecture
Landscape Architecture
Those invited to execute their physical, performance or music/sound sculpture pieces for the Thanatopolis Exhibition in October 2010 will receive a creative fee of $2,000 plus a budget for travel, materials, incidental expenses. ‘Paper projects’ will receive a creative fee of $700. No application fee.
