In late 2017, WLA called for submissions to the annual World Landscape Architecture Awards. Entries came from all over the world and once again they were of a high-quality and addressed many themes, particularly climate change and creating places for people. After the jury shortlisted entries in March for each category including Built Design – Small, Built Design – Large, Conceptual and Student they then scored each entry.
In early April 2018, the winners of the Award of Excellence and the Merit Award were announced and to celebrate we have published the 2018 WLA Awards Magazine which showcases the winners and also the shortlisted entries.
