EVENT | George W. Bush Presidential Center Dedication

The dedication ceremony forĀ George W. Bush Presidential Center will be held today including a parkland designed by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates. The design reflects the Bush’s love for their native Texas landscape and includes trees from their ranch tree farm. MVVA have spent over 2 and half years on site creating a 15 acre parkland that includes praries and meadows, bioswales and an irrigation cistern.

George W Bush Presidential Center unveiled

Today, the design for George W. Bush Presidential Center will be unveiled in Dallas. The center situated at the Southern Methodist University is expected to cost $250 million. The landscape architect for the project is Michael Van Valkenburgh. who’s design includes a replica of the White House Rose Garden and a garden of Texas prairie grasses. The Architect for the project is Robert A.M. Stern.
