The redevelopment of the Bernardine Monastery Complex is based on the need to cultivate the district’s contemporary identity and needs while engaging with the site’s unique heritage. The system of open spaces and streets that encompass the complex need to reveal the multiple layers of both historic and contemporary events while editing the numerous urban configurations that obstruct the flow/flux of urban life.

FED_SCRAPER re-envisions the Washington DC National Mall, where federal program is cleared from the mega-blocks to be situated within the mall-void. This allows mega blocks to be returned to a densely knitted interwoven fabric to take back these areas of the city. Federal program thus becomes contained within the National Mall, putting physical limits on the exacerbated growth of the Federal Government. The Ponds is the newest 320 hectare development in Sydney master planned by CLOUSTON. Touted as ‘A showcase for sustainable living’ with Community Facilities, Water Sustainable Urban Design, Open Spaces, Built form guidelines for housing that has features that is flexible and can accommodate young families, older residents and/or those with mobility impairment.
