Byron Bay – an iconic destination in the State of New South Wales in Australia attracts 1.5 million tourists a year and is home to 9,420 shire residents. With such a profound celebration of place comes a strong passion to protect, leading to ad hoc decision making and a conflation of issues. The need for a holistic plan was clear, the challenge however was to capture the community’s passion while creating a benchmark deliverable masterplan.

Vestre Fjordpark | Working with Nature | LIW planning

The project “Working with Nature” proposes an architectonically robust overall approach to the area surrounding Vestre Fjordpark in Aalborg West which gathers public recreational facilities and accessibility in a new type of space in Aalborg. Urbanity and landscape are synthesized in a site-specific, coastal city space that operates with Danish coastal landscape typologies: the lagoon, the salt marsh, the tongue, and the forest are “Working with Nature”.

C.F. Møller Landscape designs new park for London

Springfield Park is a new public park on a former golf course area in southwest London, featuring climate resilience measures, sports facilities, pavilions and various garden rooms combining familiar London-features with new urban nature.

The 13 ha land is released as part of the transformation and expansion of the historic Springfield Hospital, which includes a masterplan for new residential uses and new public parkland on part of the former hospital grounds.
