ASPECT Studios renews partnership with World Landscape Architecture

ASPECT Studios has renewed their partnership with World Landscape Architecture for 2014. We would like to thank ASPECT Studios for their support in 2013 that will continue through 2014. Their support assists World Landscape Architecture to continue publishing landscape architecture projects from across the world.

ASPECT Studios is a design firm specialising in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Digital Media. Their studios combine to promote a culture of excellence, and passion with a strong foundation of core staff led by a team of nine Studio Directors who guide their Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Shanghai and Digital Studios.

Dutch team wins competition in Reykjavik

Two Rotterdam based offices jvantspijker and Felixx will design the new redevelopment plan of an industrial seaside area in Reykjavik, Iceland. The firms have won the first prize through an invited two-stage competition. The plan consists of 110.000 square meters of mixed use program, including four hundred new dwellings.

The Landscape Architecture Legacy of Dan Kiley exhibition opens February 8 at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C., showcasing a selection of newly commissioned photographs of projects by Dan Kiley (1912–2004), one of the most important and influential Modernist landscape architects of the 20th century. The retrospective runs through May 18, 2014.
