Last week we told you that 87 of the 90 submissions were eligible for entry into Zaryadye Park Design Competition. Yesterday, the jury held an eight-hour long meeting the Jury and selected six teams out of 90 applications. The main criteria was composition of a consortium, consisting of representatives of various specialties, and consortium portfolio. On 27 September 2013 the six participants will provide landscape and architectural concepts for Zaryadye park. After the technical expertise these projects will be presented to the Jury early November 2013. And later on the Winner will be involved in implementation of the project.

The Canterbury Cathedral Landscape Design Competition is an exciting initiative, which seeks to find the best design team to re-imagine and reinvigorate the existing setting. It is a rare opportunity to bring fresh thinking and new ideas to the landscape of one of England’s most famous buildings.
