Responding to the needs of its growing client base overseas, Burt Hill announces the establishment of an International Studio. This full-service studio, which offers architectural, site, engineering, and creative services, will support and expand the capabilities of the firm’s existing offices abroad in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE and Ahmedabad, India, while also strengthening its resources in the United States. The new studio will be housed in Burt Hill’s Pittsburgh office and increase its current Pittsburgh-based team in the upcoming year.

After winning a swag of awards for its stunning architecture, the first two completed stages of the $300 million Viridian Noosa development, including several architecturally-designed homes, have been recognised for excellence in landscape management.
Set on Noosa Hill on a former banana plantation that later became a weed-infested goat paddock, the project has taken out the Queensland Excellence Award for Land Management at the Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture (Qld) awards.

Construction work is underway on The Grand, one of the largest vertically-integrated, mixed-use projects under construction in the nation. The multi-phase 3.6 million square foot development spanning three city blocks will cost an estimated $3 billion to develop. Phase I has been designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry for the project developer, Related Companies.
