“The first two winners have been announced in the Pennine Lancashire Squared architecture competition which aims to create six public ‘squares’.

Inspirational concept designs from Manchester-based Landscape Projects and from Civic Architects and Colour: Urban Design Ltd, for high profile public spaces in Accrington and Burnley respectively, have triumphed in the prestigious multi-site contest, commissioned by regeneration agency Elevate.”

situate is an international sculpture competition for Perth, Western Australia.

Forrest Place, which is the location of a proposed major multi-million dollar upgrade, has been announced as the site for the artwork.

situate has been designed to encourage innovative partnerships between creative minds from a range of disciplines.

$1million is being offered for an artwork to transform the city landscape and represents a new challenge to public art and its interaction with the built environment in WA.

International Design Competition for Park – Madrid Spain

The competition | Concurso Internacional Parque de Valdebebas

The aim of the competition is to secure the services of a multidisciplinary team that will plan and design a new urban park of approximately 80 hectares in Parque de Valdebebas. The design should resolve the transition between the urban area currently being developed and the adjacent forest park. Of utmost importance will be the proposed uses and their suitability for the scale and location of the park. To this end the winning design will need to make the most of the planning, landscape, environmental and social opportunities offered by the site.
