“The Miami Beach Parks & Recreation Department paid $22.4 million to redesign and rebuild South Pointe Park, which reopened on March 22, 2009, after two years of construction.”
Hargreaves Associates landscape architects were part of the team for the redesign.

Dennis Markwardt, Texas Department of Transportation’s director of vegetation management, interviewed by Temple Daily Telegram states that this year is one of the worst years on record for wildflowers for many areas in Texas. Apparently the TXDOT stated back in 1932 cultivating wildflowers – “TxDOT buys and sows about 30,000 pounds of wildflower seed each year.”
