The students at Manchester School Of Architecture were given the challenge to design and build a pavilion for the gardens of Dunham Massey, a National Trust house in Cheshire. The Trust wanted a design that related to the history and surroundings of the house and garden, while remaining an attractive and exciting pavilion for visitors.

RIBA Vauxhall The Missing Link Design Competition received 100 Entries from 21 countries all over the world. Architects and Landscape Designers worldwide were asked to put their ‘High Line – High Level Thinking Caps on!’ to design the Public Realm and they did not disappoint.

The Wenying Lake reservoir, also known as the “Mother Lake”, is the most important water supply for the ancient city of Datong. With a massive increase in urban development since the 1980’s, the once plentiful lake waters have been depleted, draining the site not only of water, but natural ecosystems and beautiful scenery.

Stoss Leads Design Team Selected for Movement on Main


A team led by Stoss Landscape Urbanism, including Höweler + Yoon Architecture, Nitsch Engineering, and Angie Cradock ScD, MPE has been selected as the winning design team for the Movement on Main: Designing the Healthy Main Street competition in Syracuse. The announcement was made Tuesday, April 15th by The Near Westside Initiative, in partnership with UPSTATE: A Center for Design, Research and Real Estate in the Syracuse University School of Architecture.
