The Hong Goverment website news.gov.hk announced that

“The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge feasibility report will be submitted to the Central Government in December for scrutiny, and the three jurisdictions will invite tenders for the main bridge’s preliminary design on December 1.

This was the message from Secretary for Transport & Housing Eva Cheng after the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Advance Work Co-ordination Group’s 9th meeting in Guangzhou today.

Melbourne urban sprawl may grow with new outer ring road – The Age

The Age reports

“MELBOURNE(Australia) might continue to sprawl to the west, with a potential shift of the city’s urban growth boundary revealed in plans for a new ring road.

The outer metropolitan ring road, which will also include a rail link, will run in an arc from Avalon Airport to the Hume Highway.

The road is set to be included in the State Government’s transport plan, due out within days.”

Britain’s most famous luxury cruise ship, the Queen Elizabeth 2, arrived in Dubai on Wednesday where it will turn into a floating hotel moored off an artificial palm-shaped island.

“Iowa City Council will vote for the second time Tuesday to consider restricting the number of unrelated people living together. Only three unrelated people, two fewer than what is allowed now, would be able to live in a single unit, according to the ordinance.

“The concern is to keep the downtown viable for everybody,” said Christina Kuecker, associate planner with Iowa City’s Urban Planning Division””

Wellington City Council: Let’s Do It Again – Scoop.co.nz

Wellington City Council doesn’t like its five-year old upgrade to the pedestrian Mall. The City has decided to reinstate the two-lane road with two-way traffic. The City’s reasoning is to reinstate the precinct known as the Golden Mile in Wellington, it would also allow bus routes to pass through the mall at a 30km/h(18mph) speed limit.
