New Orleans To New York: Fighting Blighted Properties – Bayoubuzz.com

When critics blasted the slow rebuilding of New Orleans, Ray Nagin shocked the world when he answered that all New York had to show for its recovery was a “hole in the ground” where the Twin Towers used to be.

New California Academy of Sciences green building to open 27th September

The Renzo Piano designed Calfornia Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco is set to open on Spetember 27th.

The new Platinium LEED certified musuem will house the Kimball Natural History Museum, Steinhart Aquarium and the Morrison Planetarium. The new energy saving building with its 2.5 acre roof was design by Renzo Piano in collaboration with STANTEC architecture.
