LORI STAHL of the Dallas Morning News reports

“The landscape architect selected to design the surroundings of the Bush Library is known for tackling tricky, prominent projects, including Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House.

Michael Van Valkenburgh, principal of a New York- and Cambridge-based design firm, is a recently announced key member of the design team that will create the Bush Library on a narrow tract of land between SMU and Central Expressway.”
