The new neighborhood is a place of encounter. The lodging is residence and center of life for about 1.400 inhabitants and offers through its creative openness both space to the residents, as well as to the surrounding residential areas and work places. City thrives on diversity and attractive medium-through exchanges and among themselves. And one can easily imagine that the green neighborhood offers the different user groups, such as families with children, singles, shared apartments much room for development, but also the employees, by for example Oerlicon and Inficon, a special place for lunch.

The 816 Congress Roof Transformation converted unsightly, inaccessible spaces into unique green roofs and subsequently profitable building assets. The resulting main terrace has become a tenant retreat and a coveted event space, offering unprecedented views of the Texas State Capitol and its grounds. This building, designed for another era, is now competing with modern and newly built office space in downtown Austin.

To build a new library is to give to one’s community, to make a gesture of openness, of exchange, of culture and of urbanity. Situated in the multi-ethnic borough of Saint-Laurent on a busy urban boulevard, the library is one of a series of public structures with a lush woodland park running behind them. Founded on the prioritization of the user’s perception, the library and its landscape offer a contemporary place of varied experiences. It is a place of openness and exchange devoted to discovery, communication and interaction.

The office complex for about 800 employees resembles a varied flotilla of buildings at different levels, which are connected by a series of outdoor spaces like atria, courtyards, terraces and roof gardens. The mixture of office buildings and outdoor spaces creates the impression that this is a town within a town. The complex, surrounded by canals and lakes on all four sides, forms the entrance to the new, urban district on the waterfront in Aarhus, Denmark.
