$1.6mil in planting for Toronto – globe and mail

JOHN LORINC of Globe & Mail in a special report states

“In the City of Toronto’s looming $8.7-billion operating budget, this year’s $1.6-million allocation for tree planting looks like little more than a sapling-sized line-item. It’s an outlay that will add 100,000 young trees to Toronto’s parks, public spaces and front yards.”
